lyrics
Stick man meets the hang man
Stick man on the run
Hang man has the answer
Hang man is a gun
Stick man want nothing
Stick man get away
Hangman waits patiently
Hangman has much to say
Stickman meets the straw man
Stickman sets him up
Straw man he ain’t nothing
Straw man just a clue
Hangman drops him like a rock
Hangman cuts him down
Straw man disappears
Straw man’s never around
Hangman is the answer
Stickman is the rule
Straw man just to fool
Law man not amused
Every man sees different
Every man speak up
Every man face something
Every man shares the blame

Ol' man Mould seems to have found another gear with this album, and for that I am thankful! Looking forward to taking my teen daughter to see the punk legend in Sept in Boston! anabolic squirrel
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
